Monica will guide you on an exploration of spontaneous creation . . . no rules, just play, have fun and art will appear. No previous artistic experience is necessary. Everyone is a beginner. All levels are welcome!!
The 2.5 hour experience happens in her Carmel art studio where Monica shares her approach to abstract painting with acrylic paint and ink. You'll learn how to mix color, and use a variety of tools including brushes, palette knives, sponges, rollers, paint shapers, and trowels.
There is absolutely no pressure to make a design or composition. Monica will lead you on a creative adventure where there are no mistakes, just experimentation and fun. As you explore, you'll see art appear spontaneously in your work and discover portions of your painting that tell a story or have a special feeling. At the end of the session, you'll mount your art creation in a mat or on a cradled wooden panel to take home to share and enjoy.
