Turn for Peace Series

The idea for a turning circle began when a collector commissioned a round painting for her garden—one that could be turned by hand. She placed a small plaque beside it that read "Turn for Peace". That gesture became the seed of my Turn for Peace series.

In this body of work, each piece features a hand-made turning disc—sometimes brass, sometimes painted or layered in mixed media—designed to be turned by hand. The act of turning becomes a symbol of participation: a reminder that peace is something we create through engagement, awareness, and intentional action. It asks us not to remain idle, but to be part of the movement toward connection and harmony.
