Birdsongs 1: Morning Chorus is the first in a series inspired by early morning walks—moments of quiet reflection filled with birdsong and soft rising light. Etched brass rocks and horizontal brass lines speak to strength, grounding, and resilience. Rusted paper and cracked textures reference the passage of time and the raw beauty of the earth. Embedded within the painted layers are spectrograms of birdsongs, translating ephemeral sound into visual form—a poetic echo of nature’s rhythm.
